This piqued our interest, so we turned to the Premier Agent community and asked them to share the oddest places and situations they’ve encountered a business opportunity.


Chatting with the doctor just before going under the knife. The surgeon bought a home just four weeks later.


Hopefully you’re fortunate enough to not find yourself conversing with a surgeon on a regular basis, but this agent’s story just goes to show that you could find serious home shoppers in the most random of settings.

Many of us dash to our seats, turn on a plane-ready playlist and take a nap. The people you meet while traveling may be looking to purchase their first home or sell their investment property. Introduce yourself and ask your seat buddy about their travel plans. You never know where the conversation may go.
